Founded in 1972, Berkhamsted Plant & Tool & Hire is an independent, family-run business dedicated to serving the Berkhamsted community and beyond. Starting as the oldest business on the High Street, we expanded in 1980 to accommodate our growing range of tools and leisure equipment. In 2015, we relocated to Sarthe Business Park, where we continue to thrive under the ownership of our original founders.
Our mission is to provide quality products and services with friendly customer service, ensuring every customer finds the right tools or equipment for their needs. From diggers, breakers, and mixers for construction and DIY, our extensive inventory meets diverse demands. We also specialise in supplying builders and tradesman with their day to day tools. Maintenance and repair services for gardening tools and equipment, quad bikes, alongside supplying Propane and Butane gas.
